James Krag, M.D.

Dr. James Krag is president of the Psychiatric Society of Virginia and a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He was president of the Virginia Association of Community Psychiatrists for four years. Dr. Krag is currently Medical Director of Liberty Point, a residential treatment program for adolescents with psychiatric problems.

He is Clincal Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatric Medicine at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville and has been faculty at the University's Institute for Substance Abuse Studies. Dr. Krag has lectured widely in the areas of child development, substance abuse, anxiety disorders, and child, adolescent and family psychiatric care.
